Meet the Amped Marine Team
Ollie Danner
Co-Founder
Ollie Danner is co-founder of Amped Marine and a marine electrification entrepreneur focused on building the partnerships, service capabilities, and workforce needed to support the growing electric boating industry. His work connects boat manufacturers, marinas, fleet operators, technology providers, and workforce partners to turn emerging technologies into practical opportunities on the water.
At Amped Marine, Ollie’s focus includes business development, service operations, industry partnerships, and technician recruitment and training. He is helping develop capabilities in electric boat maintenance, mechanical repair, high-voltage diagnostics, and propulsion system support. His goal is to give boat owners and commercial operators greater confidence in electric boating by improving access to knowledgeable technicians and dependable service.
Through Charged Marine, Ollie supports marine electrification strategy, market development, fleet adoption, and marina charging initiatives. Sea Watts connects people with electric boating experiences, businesses, and events, helping manufacturers reach customers and operators explore new opportunities. As founder of the Zero Emission Marine Accelerator (ZEMA), he brings industry stakeholders together to advance collaboration, education, commercialization, and workforce development, including efforts at the Cal EPIC / ZEMA Innovation Hub in Sacramento.
Ollie also founded Electric Boat Captain, a community and consumer movement that celebrates electric boating and encourages more people to experience it firsthand. Through demonstrations, industry gatherings, and public outreach, he helps connect the technical side of marine electrification with the people who will use and benefit from it.
Across these ventures, Ollie’s mission is to make electric boating more accessible and practical—supported by strong industry relationships, reliable service, and a new generation of skilled marine technicians.

Jonathan Robinson
Co-Founder
Jonathan Robinson is President of Emerald Wave Charters, a partner at Amped Marine, and a marine electrification advocate whose background combines lifelong boating experience with a career in technology. Raised in Hawaii and California, Jonathan developed an early connection to the water and an appreciation for the boats, equipment, and people that make boating possible. Today, he brings that perspective to the adoption of electric propulsion in recreational boating and commercial charter operations.
Jonathan spent more than a decade working in Silicon Valley technology and currently works at a technology investigation firm in Palo Alto. His experience informs a practical approach to evaluating emerging marine technologies, with an emphasis on how they perform in everyday use and meet the needs of owners, captains, and fleet operators.
As an early electric boating operator, Jonathan helped launch one of North America’s first electric boat charter operations, introducing an Arc Sport on Lake Tahoe. He subsequently expanded service to Lake Havasu and Newport Beach, gaining firsthand experience with electric vessels across different waterways and operating conditions. His work provides insight into the opportunities and operational considerations involved in bringing electric boats into charter fleets, from customer experience and vessel performance to charging, maintenance, and service support.
Jonathan’s involvement in electrification extends beyond boating. He has owned more than a dozen electric vehicles and contributed to an electric truck program, giving him a broad foundation in electric transportation. He draws on that experience in his marine electrification consulting, helping businesses evaluate electric propulsion and understand the infrastructure and support needed for adoption.
Through his partnership with an electric marine service firm in Sacramento, Jonathan supports the development of service and repair capabilities for electric boats. He also advises original equipment manufacturers on propulsion and vessel design, bringing an operator’s perspective to product development.
As an industry panelist and ZEMA board member, Jonathan contributes to discussions on electric boating, fleet adoption, and the development of a stronger marine electrification ecosystem. His focus is on connecting technological innovation with practical boating experience to help make electric vessels a dependable and compelling choice for more owners and operators.
